Lady Cavs are a Class Act

The Crockett County Lady Cavalier Volleyball team finished out the 2005

season with a trip to the state volleyball tournament in Murfreesboro.  The

Lady Cavs played Goodpasture and Anderson County on Wednesday

afternoon and then faced Notre Dame on Thursday morning.  They entered

their quarterfinal match Thursday afternoon after losing the previous 3

 tournament matches.  The Lady Cavs played tough, but lost to East Ridge,

the eventual state champs in 3 games.  The Lady Cavs fought through a

difficult week of sickness and unexpected circumstances and made the

Crockett County fans proud. Crockett County has a lot to look forward to in

the coming years.  Senior players will be missed, but several talented

players will be returning next year to fill the vacated positions.

Congratulations to the Lady Cavalier Volleyball team for a great season and

thanks to Coach Rawson for all his hard work.
